A Miracle Has Occurred
We have just received about a dozen items that were 11 years overdue. This is not something totally unheard of, I found one report of a book returned 18 years too late, but come on 11 years is pretty good.

Do you charge fines for that stuff?

Yes we do, although these were gone so long that they were written off as billed and lost. The patron in question would have been unable to use their card had they tried, unless they paid off the fines.
