Con Report: Readercon 20
I’m back and begining recovery from this year’s Readercon, easily the most interesting con in New England, and quite probably further abroad than that. Every year I find myself more enthralled by the panels (Is Fiction Inherently Evil? was one of the many highlights this year), spending more money in the dealers’ room (man I love Golden Gryphon Press), and laughing harder at the Kirk Poland Memorial Bad Prose Competition (“in the begining was the word…and the word was misspelled”).
It’s not possible to say enough good things about this con. It is simply a book lover’s paradise. And now next year seems so far off.
